Opencast Mines & Quarries

High volumes of dust, often extending over large areas, present a major challenge for the operators of opencast mines and quarries. If conditions are also dry and windy, the dust will affect not only the workforce but also, in many cases, entire housing estates in the vicinity.

The sources of dust in surface mining areas are often distributed over very large expanses, with dust originating from various places.

 

With their large projection range, EmiControls dust-laying sprayers are ideal for such applications. Mobile versions of the machines can be moved easily and therefore used to control dust at various sources. Individually adapted spray systems can also be used in this field of application.
